BIO

I attended the Syracuse University School of Visual and Performing Arts and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. Soon after that I started my family, and when my children got older, I attended Raritan Valley Community College to learn Graphic Design.

I began my career at a cable and satellite marketing firm known as Eclipse Marketing where I became Manager of Creative Services. After 3 years I began working at AlphaGraphics as the sole graphic designer for this large print shop. I worked there for 4 years then moved over to ImageSmith, an agency that specialized in marketing medical devices, as well as various other products and services. In an effort to gain a basic understanding of Web Development, I returned to RVCC in the winter of 2011 to attend weekend classes to study HTML, CSS, and JQuery.

After working at ImageSmith for over 13 years, I'm now a freelance graphic artist. My areas of experience include trade show exhibits, corporate identity, brochure design, photo retouching, sales sheets, digital ads, website content design, and many other types of pieces. My 20+ years of experience have given me a skill set that allows me to accomplish my goals quickly and efficiently without sacrificing quality or integrity. Photo retouching is one of my specialties and I consider myself accomplished in this area.

I also volunteer my services to a number of nonprofit organizations that deal with food insecurity, homelessness, educational grants, and others in need, in an effort to give to those less fortunate than myself. I find this work particularly rewarding.
